The Democraps

In class today we were given our groups to work with for future projects in the class. As an ice breaker to get to know one another we created interesting questions ranging from the basic ice breakers to ridiculous questions that made us laugh and get to know each other very well. My four other group members are all Conservatives leading to our team name "The Democraps" to bring humor to our group. We were inspired by another name called the "Feminazis" so in retaliation we created a name to backfire.
My Group:
Trent:
Trent is from Pennsylvania and only 45mins outside of Philadelphia. Trent is also a freshman and is a business major . If he was stranded on an island the one item he would take is his phone. I mean candy crush is fun and all but until his phone dies after 4 hours he's pretty done for. On to another funny question, his super power of choice would be to fly and its basic but I mean you really can't beat it. In his spare time Trent likes to hangout with his friends and he also play soccer, track, and basketball with them in his free time. The one fact that was the most interesting to me was that he has a twin brother at Penn State. It must be weird with your twin all the way back home. I've always wondered if the pain theory that people talk about, if one twin gets hurt then the other can feel it. I might punch Trent and ask if he can text his brother to see if he felt it.
Brittany:
Brittany is from Salem, NC which is only 35 mins from here. Coming from 13 hours away I wanted to leave home but I understand that some people want to stay close to home or maybe her dream school was only 35 mins away and worked out perfectly. Her sister also chose to go to school close to home, she attends Chapel Hill and is a junior. Brittany's major is exercise science which is interesting to me since I have never heard of this field but in simple terms it is the study of how the human body works under extreme conditions such as sports. On a stranded island Brittany would also bring her phone for some odd reason but if I were her I would take either her cat or her dog that she owns. On the weekends Brittany likes to hangout with friends and in highschool she was a middie for lacrosse while also playing basketball.
Jackson:
Hailing from all the way in Minnesota is Jackson. Where he is an only child but has a cattle dog to keep him company. He is a freshman who is majoring in Business Administration so that means he is really good with numbers. On a stranded island Jackson would bring his guitar which he has been playing since he was 8 years old. If you thought that was interesting well it turns out Jackson takes piloting lessons in Greensboro for fun on the weekends.
Rob:
Rob is a Long Islander and his father is also a Police Officer as is mine. On a stranded island he would bring a barbecue and to me that sounds like a pretty good time. Rob is a transfer and is a sophomore this year and is majoring in Actuarily Sciences. To be honest I have no idea what that means but he says theres a lot of numbers involved and that deserves some respect since I hate number and a communications major. In high school he played golf and left wing in hockey. He has a dog named Buddy who is a chocolate lab and his superpower would be to have superhuman strength.
Recap:
Over all my group is very diverse and from all around the country which I think will bring a lot to our group projects. Everyone was very nice and welcoming from the beginning and very open to ideas. Being a kid from the north I was afraid that there wouldn't be a lot of kids from up north as well. Well I was drastically wrong. Brittany is the only one in our group that is actually from the south. I guess that's how most of the campus as well which is odd but at least I have some pats fans with me down here.
